Windows
- Setup .exe
Claude Code
settings.json.before-agent-monitor로 남겨 둡니다.

git clone https://github.com/elopstudio/elop-crew
cd elop-crew
npm start # http://127.0.0.1:4777
~/.claude/settings.json에 넣어야 합니다.
MONITOR_HOME으로 바꿀 수 있습니다.
Agent Monitor
- Windows:
- Claude Code
~/.claude/settings.json(Windows는%USERPROFILE%\.claude\settings.json)을 열어hooks안에서 명령에hooks/bridge.mjs또는hooks/inbox.mjs가 들어간 항목을 지웁니다.
~/.claude-agent-monitor(작업판, 이름, 설정, PC 연결 키)와 앱 설정 폴더(Windows%APPDATA%\Agent Monitor, macOS~/Library/Application Support/Agent Monitor)를 지웁니다.
Install the PC program
The ELOP Crew PC program is a free desktop app for Windows and macOS. It runs in a window and the tray, with no terminal. You can also run it straight from the source code.
Before you start
- You need Claude Code, installed and signed in. That is all a new PC needs.
- Claude Code is the only agent supported today. OpenAI Codex, Gemini CLI and others are on the way.
- Get the installer from Download. Every version is on GitHub Releases.
Install on Windows
- Download Setup .exe and run it.
- The installer is not code-signed, so SmartScreen may warn you. Click More info → Run anyway.
- It installs for your user account only, so no admin rights are needed. It starts as soon as it is done.
- On first run it offers to install the Claude Code hooks. Accept.
Install on macOS
- Download the
arm64disk image (.dmg) for Apple silicon (M1 and later), orx64for an Intel Mac. - Open it and drag the app to Applications. If you start it from anywhere else, it offers to move itself there first, because the hooks remember where the app is.
- The app is not signed with an Apple Developer ID, so macOS refuses the first start ("cannot verify the developer"). Open it once with right-click → Open, or allow it in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
- On first run it offers to install the hooks. Accept.
The Claude Code hooks
Hooks are small programs Claude Code runs at certain moments. ELOP Crew uses them to receive permission requests and questions, learn each session's permission mode, and deliver the messages you send from the dashboard. They also tell a project's leader who is on its team.
- The app adds or replaces only its own entries in
~/.claude/settings.json. Your other settings and hooks are left alone. - A backup of the file is kept as
settings.json.before-agent-monitor. - With Node.js on the PC the hooks run on it; without, they run on the app itself.
- Claude Code sessions that are already running pick them up straight away.
If you said no on first run, open the settings and use the install / update button in the hooks section. That section shows whether the hooks are installed, need an update, or are missing. When a new version ships hooks with new features, the app asks once more.
Without the hooks the dashboard still shows your sessions, but you cannot answer a VS Code session's requests from it, see the permission modes, or send messages from the page.
The window and the tray
- A thin title strip at the top holds ← → ⟳ (back, forward, reload), − 100% + (zoom) and ⚙ (settings). Drag the strip to move the window.
- Zoom with the buttons, Ctrl + mouse wheel, or Ctrl + − / 0 / =; the level is remembered. Alt + ← / → and F5 work too.
- When Claude usage numbers are known, the strip shows your session and weekly percentages. Click them to open the account dialog. Usage
- The window opens where you left it, at the same size.
- Closing the window hides it in the tray and your agents keep running. The tray menu has open, settings, about and quit. Quitting also stops the agents ELOP Crew started.
On a Mac the window buttons sit at the left of the strip and the shortcuts use ⌘ instead of Ctrl. The menu bar icon does what the tray does. Clicking the Dock icon brings the window back; ⌘ Q quits and stops the agents.
The tray menu, the settings window and the app's messages follow the language you pick on the dashboard.
Settings
Open them with ⚙ in the title strip, or from the tray menu.
| Start at login | Starts quietly in the tray, without a window, when you log in. |
|---|---|
| Close to the tray | Turned off, closing the window quits the app and stops the agents ELOP Crew started. |
| Window shortcut | The key that brings the window up from anywhere. See below. |
| Data folder | Where config.json, the boards (boards/) and the agent list live. The default is ~/.claude-agent-monitor. You can open it or pick another one; a new folder is used after the app restarts. |
| Claude Code hooks | Their state, and a button to install or update them. |
| Updates | The current state and a button to check now. When a new version is downloaded, a button installs it and restarts. |
| About | The version, the about dialog, and a button to open the dashboard in your browser. |
The window shortcut
By default it is Ctrl + Alt + J (⌃⌥J on a Mac). It brings the window up with the keyboard on the dashboard, so the number keys answer the first request right away. Press it again to hide the window.
In the settings you can switch to Ctrl + Alt + M, Space or K, or turn it off. If another program already has the key, the settings window says so.
Updates
- Windows: the app checks GitHub Releases at start and every six hours, downloads a new version in the background and installs it the next time it starts. You can also install it at once from the tray or the settings.
- macOS: macOS only installs updates into a signed app, so the Mac app just tells you a new version is out (a notification, the menu, the settings) and opens the release page for you to download it.
Agents that were in the middle of work during an update carry on once the app is back. Restarts and sign-in
Run it from source
All it needs is Node 18 or later; there are no dependencies.
git clone https://github.com/elopstudio/elop-crew
cd elop-crew
npm start # http://127.0.0.1:4777
Open http://127.0.0.1:4777 in your browser. Set PORT=… for another port. The page is in English by default; switch in its menu, or add ?lang=ko for Korean.
- Run this way, you add the hooks to
~/.claude/settings.jsonyourself. The entries are in the README. - The data folder is the code folder, unless you set
MONITOR_HOME. - For the phone app to reach this PC you need Node 22 or later. Linking a PC
- If ELOP Crew is already answering on that port when the desktop app starts, the app shows that one instead of starting another.
Coming from Agent Monitor
The program used to be called Agent Monitor. Updating keeps your settings, names and boards.
- Windows: the install folder, the program file (
Agent Monitor.exe) and the start-at-login entry stay as they were; only the shortcuts are renamed. - macOS: the new
ELOP Crew.appsits beside the oldAgent Monitor.appand uses the same settings. Once you delete the old app, the new one offers to install the hooks again. If start at login was on, turn it on again in the settings.
Installed? Continue with The dashboard. If something does not work, see Troubleshooting.
Uninstalling
- Take the Claude Code hooks out: first open
~/.claude/settings.json(on Windows%USERPROFILE%\.claude\settings.json) and, underhooks, delete the entries whose command containshooks/bridge.mjsorhooks/inbox.mjs. Left in place, they make Claude Code report a missing hook once the program is gone. The original file was kept assettings.json.before-agent-monitorwhen the hooks were first set up, but restoring it also undoes any setting you changed since, so deleting the entries is better. - Unlink the PC if you used the phone app: unlink it in the account window or on the account page. Unlinking
- Turn off starting at login: switch off Start at login in the settings.
- Remove the program: on Windows, Settings → Apps → Installed apps, ELOP Crew (Agent Monitor in older versions), Uninstall. On macOS, move ELOP Crew (or Agent Monitor) from Applications to the Bin.
- Remove what is left (optional): the data stays after the program is gone. To remove everything, delete
~/.claude-agent-monitor(the board, names, settings and the PC's link key) and the app's settings folder (Windows%APPDATA%\Agent Monitor, macOS~/Library/Application Support/Agent Monitor). Claude Code's own conversation history is not touched.
